As a user, I would love to have a quick glance on what games are trending across the industry. It will help give me quick insight on which games are being talked about that I otherwise might not have been able to see. I enjoy the trending news section as it shows specific news articles, but it would also be cool to see what's trending categorically (by game), so I can see the broader industry trends/conversations happening and narrow in if I see a game I might be interested in.
